about

This was written about a friend who passed away at far too young an age in the build up to Christmas a number of years ago. She was generous, caring and supremely kind. This is for Natalie.

lyrics

Stay here for a moment
Stay here for a while
I dreamt she stood before me
And in her eyes a smile

As the world keeps turning
I am standing still
Counting all the lessons
That I have yet to learn

Knowing who you were

Precious were the moments
Walking with you near
I prayed that you could rest well
I prayed there was no fear

As the world pushed forward
I thought upon her face
Future stories shattered
Promises run dry

I can see her fading

Knowing who you were
